We believe that creative professionals, otherwise uninvolved in the performing arts, can be valuable partners in making theatre. The vision of BILLY & CO. is to create a mutually affecting collaboration, where both creative identities inspire one another to generate work that transcends the expectations of their respective disciplines. This collaboration amounts to an innovative showcase platform for theatre artists and other creative stakeholders.</span></p> </blockquote> <p>Anyway, they’ve asked Year of the Tiger to perform and contribute to their initial <a href="http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=228890027125582" target="_blank">Literary Parts</a> reading series. We’ll be DJing between readings, musically supporting some, and playing a set at the end.</p> <p>How culturally inclusive!</p> <p>That’s happening at the Brooklyn Winery in Williamsburg, next Sunday, June 5th. Tomorrow at the <a href="http://www.lomography.com/magazine/events/2011/02/15/introducing-lomographys-blue-hour" target="_blank">Lomography Store in Greenwich Village</a> we’re doing an in-store gig. </li> <li>And then the next night, Friday the 18th, we’re bringing it back to Spike Hill in Brooklyn, with some sort of EP release show I guess? I mean, it’s our first giggy gig after that happened so I guess that’s what’s up. But it’s not like we’ll have EP’s there since we are all digital downloads here (You’re welcome, EARTH). But you know. It’s a free show.
